Formed in 2022, Brass Connection is a dynamic chamber quintet based in Los Angeles. The ensemble emerged from a collaboration of brass artists who met while serving as Teaching Artists for the Los Angeles Philharmonic's music education program, YOLA (Youth Orchestra Los Angeles). YOLA aspires to nurture future leaders through music education. Through its strong ties to the YOLA program, Brass Connection strives to cultivate artistic and social empowerment by engaging with the wider Los Angeles community through exceptional performances.
Brass Connection believes in the transcendent power of music. We view artistic expression as the universal language that harmoniously unites people across diverse backgrounds and experiences.
